First published in 1916, we began daily publication in 1957.
As a paid daily newspaper serving the Central Interior of B.C., the Prince George Citizen is the premier medium in the area, and takes this responsibility very seriously.
Below is a list of our regularly printed products giving you an option to reach all markets:
The Prince George Citizen is delivered to city subscribers and sold to newsstands Monday to Saturday.
The Citizen Review delivers flyers to non-subscribers every Thursday and Saturday.
The Central Interior Buy and Sell is published and sold at newstands every Wednesday.
Our TV entertainment guide, Select E, is distributed within The Citizen each Friday.
Shop PG (monthly publication) is distributed to over 25,000 households outside Prince George.
Benefits of advertising in the Prince George Citizen include:
- 7 am delivery for increased exposure for our advertisers and greater convenience for our readers
- we have one of the highest market penetration rates in all of Canada with over 55% of all occupied city households receiving the Citizen Monday to Thursday & Saturday. That number jumps to 59% on Friday (ABC 2003).
- 80% of Prince George adults read one or more issues the Citizen each week (NADbank 2003). The main reason for our readership success is that we skew local, with no fewer than six broadsheet pages daily devoted to local news and sports proudly produced & printed in Prince George.
The Citizen's advertising deadline is @ 5:00pm, three working days prior to ad run date. |
