THE SUNNY SOUTH NEWS

The Sunny South News is a community TMC newspaper published every Tuesday by the Alberta Newspaper Group. Besides The Sunny South News, this group includes four other community newspapers in Southern Alberta, The Taber Times, the Vauxhall Advance, the Bow Island County Commentator and the Lethbridge Sun Times; two daily newspapers, the Lethbridge Herald and the Medicine Hat News and a specialty farm publication, the Prairie Post. Deadline is Thursday prior to publication.

The News serves the towns of Coaldale and Picture Butte as well as the villages and hamlets within the County of Lethbridge - including Monarch, Coalhurst, Iron Springs, Shaughnessy, Turin, Diamond City, Nobleford.

The News strives to present an accurate and interesting reflection of community affairs and a forum for public opinion. Market surveys have shown high readership levels as local residents tend to take an avid interest in the affairs of their community.

The News is a member of the Alberta Weekly Newspaper Association and the Canadian Community Newspaper Association.
