The EMC has been proudly serving eastern Ontario communities for more than a quarter century and has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years.
The newest members of the EMC family launched in Ottawa-East and Ottawa-Orleans extending to Rockland, Ontario in April 2007. Kanata, Richmond, Stittsville, West Carleton, Arnprior and Nepean were launched in 2005/2006. The EMC group also purchased the Ottawa News Publishing Ltd. in the fall of 2005.
This growth complemented a successful, existing family of EMC community newspapers in Brockville/St. Lawrence, Perth, Smiths Falls, Almonte, and Carleton Place. EMC now serves 14 communities with 16 weekly editions, making us one of Canada's largest community newspapers.
From offices located in Brockville, Smiths Falls, Ottawa and Kanata, EMC's talented staff thrive on the challenge of producing a product that reflects the uniqueness of each community while meeting the needs of its readership through community-based editorial, Network Classifieds, and special supplements.
EMC newspapers are delivered on time through quality, FDSA approved distribution, thus ensuring the satisfaction of both readers and advertisers.
