The Northerner has been a part of the community for over 15 years and takes pride in reporting on issues important to readers in the area. Providing the close and personal news coverage that residents like to read, The Northerner lives up to its slogan "Community People Reporting Community Issues." While other community newspapers have come and gone, The Northerner remains the reliable source of community news in the Fort St. John and North Peace areas of North Eastern B.C.
Every Wednesday, The Northerner is delivered, free of charge, to 7,500 homes and is also available on newsstands throughout the North Peace community for maximum advertisement exposure.
The Northerner is well known for its coverage of local news, current events, features and special interest stories catering to our loyal readers of all ages and interests. Submitted articles, photographs and letters to the Editor are always welcome.
