Bianca Santos wins Rock Star:INXS reporter contest on CH
|
|
(TORONTO - Thursday, July 14, 2005) CH Television is pleased to announce the
winner of the Rock Star:INXS Reporter contest. Bianca Santos from
Etobicoke, Ontario will host weekly updates for Rock Star:INXS, which will
air Thursday through Sunday on CH Hamilton, CH Vancouver Island and CH
Montreal as well as Global Ontario. The updates will feature a recap of the
three nights of Rock Star: INXS.
Santos, 26, entered the contest, which ran on canada.com for three weeks in
June. Her passion for rock and '80s music, the thrill of being among rock
'n' roll fans, and her love of television made her a perfect fit for the
job. She is currently focusing on her acting career, which includes roles in
movies, rock music videos and commercials.
Although Santos was born in Brazil, she has lived in a number of cities
including, Brasilia, Dallas, Cleveland, Ottawa and Toronto.
Rock Star: INXS airs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on CH Hamilton, CH
Vancouver Island and CH Montreal as well as Global Halifax. PRIME will air
an encore presentation of back-to-back episodes on Sundays.
