(TORONTO) More Canadians tuned into Globals primetime line-up last night for an all-new episode of House and the final performance episode of Rock Star: Supernova now down to the last four competitors, including Toronto-native Lukas Rossi.
In the key Toronto and Vancouver markets, Global scored the top two shows with House and Rock Star: Supernova in Toronto, Big Brother on CH rounded out the top three.
HOUSE
- 2.5 million viewers nationally 2+; 38% higher than Fall 2005 average - House wins the night nationally
- 1.3 million viewers in key demo A18-49, wins demo nationally
- Head-to-head, 633% higher viewership when compared to Dancing With The Stars in Toronto and 528% higher in Vancouver
ROCK STAR: SUPERNOVA PART 1 FINALE
- 1.4 million viewers nationally 2+
- 1.0 million viewers in key demo A18-49; #2 show of the night nationally, second only to Global Televisions House
- 22% higher viewership for Rock Star: Supernova Part 1 finale (1.0 million), when in direct comparison to Idols Part 1 finale (850,000)
- Head-to-head, 129% higher viewership for Rock Star when compared to Dancing With The Stars in Toronto and 255% higher viewership in Vancouver
ET CANADA FESTIVAL CENTRAL
- #1 show for its Festival coverage for A18-49 nationally 33% ahead of eTalk even when pre-empted in the province of Alberta
- #1 show in key Toronto and Vancouver markets for A18-49 85% greater viewership than eTalk in Toronto and 767% in Vancouver
