NYPD Blue: Final Tribute and finale airs March 1 on CH
|

(TORONTO - Thursday, February 24, 2002) After 12 seasons, the critically acclaimed and award-winning police drama NYPD BLUE wraps up Tuesday, March 1 on CH Hamilton, CH Vancouver Island and CH Montreal.
Emmy Award-winner Jimmy Smits, who portrayed character Bobby Simone, will host NYPD Blue: Final Tribute. The one-hour special will take a look back at the past memorable 12 years and will be followed by the series finale entitled Moving On.
Since its debut season (1993-1994), NYPD Blue has received 20 Emmy Awards, including four for Dennis Franz for his portrayal of detective Andy Sipowicz.
