(Toronto - December 13, 2005) The 2005 Golden Globe nominations were announced today in Los Angeles, with Global / CH programs receiving 8 nods and dominating a variety of highly buzzed Comedy/Drama categories.
Groundbreaking hits "Prison Break" (Global) and "My Name is Earl" (CH) garnered multiple nominations, scoring in both the "Best Television Series" and "Best Performance By An Actor" lists in their genres.
The 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will take place Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The "Entertainment Tonight Canada" team, with Host Cheryl Hickey will be onhand, reporting direct from the red carpet, delivering all the best in buzz and exclusive celebrity soundbites.
