The Inside, I Want to Be a Hilton and Average Joe 4 coming to Global in June

(TORONTO - Thursday, June 2, 2005) Three new series will premiere in June on the Global Television Network. Rachel Nichols stars as a rookie agent in the new detective thriller The Inside; Kathy Hilton, mother of über-celebrity Paris Hilton, plays doyen to a group of high-society wannabes in I Want to Be a Hilton; and the fourth instalment of Average Joe has the guys facing new twists and turns.

The Inside - Premieres Wednesday, June 8
From the producers of 24, this new drama centres on the FBI's Los Angeles-based Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) and a rookie agent, played by Rachel Nichols, who is recruited to join the team despite her lack of field experience. She is unaware that she has been selected because as a child she was abducted and held captive, and the traumatic experience has afforded her unique insight into the mindset of both villain and victim. The one-hour series co-stars Peter Coyote, Jay Harrington and Adam Baldwin.

I Want to Be a Hilton - Premieres Monday, June 20
Kathy Hilton, former actress and mother of über-celebrity Paris, stars in this one-hour reality series in which 14 young contestants vie for the opportunity to live the glamorous lifestyle of high society. The contestants, after splitting into two teams, will compete on weekly challenges ranging from art and culture to beauty and fashion. At the conclusion of each episode, Hilton will meet with the losing team and will eliminate one candidate. The finalist will win an extravagant prize package and the opportunity to live the high life for a year.

Average Joe 4: The Joes Strike Back - Premieres Tuesday, June 21
The newest installment of the unscripted series about average-looking guys hoping to win the love of beautiful bachelorette Anna features 18 enthusiastic average Joes, ranging from a tool salesman to a pest control guy to a computer science student pursuing his Ph.D. They will have to compete against seven handsome jocks who are cocky and confident that Anna will only have eyes for them. The six-episode series will also include surprise visitors and the return of three of the most popular former Average Joes in the premiere to help coach the new Joes. The show will also feature a new dynamic: each week, one eliminated Joe will be given a makeover and viewers will see what happens when the new Joes come back looking their best.

Behind The Camera: Mork and Mindy (Encore presentation)
The TV movie, filmed in Vancouver, revisits the 1970s classic comedy Mork & Mindy, which launched the career of comedian Robin Williams. Toronto native Chris Diamantopoulos portrays Williams whose role as the alien visitor Mork captured the hearts of millions of television viewers. Erinn Hayes stars as Pam Dawber and Daniel Roebuck plays television producer Garry Marshall.

Britney and Kevin: Chaotic (Finale)
The series offers viewers a rare glimpse inside the life of pop icon Britney Spears and her husband Kevin Federline, and includes never-before-seen private home videos they shot themselves during their courtship, engagement and wedding.
