Global's got animation domination May 1 with the 350th episode of The Simpsons and the premieres of Family Guy and American Dad

(TORONTO - Monday, April 18, 2005) It's animation domination on Sunday, May 1 as the Global Television Network kicks off the month of May with the 350th episode of The Simpsons followed by the return of Family Guy and the series premiere of American Dad. The episodes in order of broadcast are as follows:
The Simpsons
Television's longest-running animated primetime series celebrates its 350th episode. A leaky roof finds a downtrodden Homer befriending a beer-loving roofer, (guest voice Ray Romano), who offers to help Homer with the repairs. When he never shows up, Marge and Dr. Hibbert conclude that Homer is hallucinating and place him in a mental hospital. Stephen Hawking guest stars as himself.
The 350th episode will be followed by an all-new episode:
Bart becomes addicted to junk food when a new vending machine is installed at school. His massive weight gain forces a family intervention and Bart is shipped off to a rehab facility, headed up by a former food addict (guest voice Albert Brooks). Meanwhile, Homer and Marge turn their home into a hostel for German travelers in order to pay for Bart's costly treatment.
Family Guy
Peter takes Lois on a second honeymoon, but when things go awry, they end up posing as a famous actor/director to stay in a fancy hotel suite. There they inadvertently discover a copy of The Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This and attempt to destroy the film, only to find themselves being chased by supporters hell-bent on saving the movie.
American Dad
Stan returns home with the wrong thermos and exposes the family to hazardous material, causing them to think they have 24 hours to live. The next day, they realize Stan brought home the right thermos, but the experience prompts Francine to question her purpose in life. She decides that she wants to be a realtor, but Stan begins to feel emasculated by her big paycheques and decides to take matters into his own hands.
Global's animation domination featuring The Simpsons, Family Guy andAmerican Dad airs Sunday, May 1 on the Global Television Network as follows:
