Global's got the new mother-daughter makeover If Only You Were Me

(TORONTO - Thursday, April 7, 2005) If Only You Were Me, which helps bridge the generation gap between mothers and daughters, will air Friday, April 22 on the Global Television Network.

The one-hour makeover, hosted by Paul McGuire, focuses on a mother and daughter who will have the opportunity to change each other's personal living space and style with the help of design experts Evelyn Eshun and Alexandra Naranjo, and fashion consultants Jim Searle and Chris Tyrell. The episode culminates in a mother-daughter reveal that will feature the new personal looks designed by the other person, as well as their living space transformation.

Sparks can and do fly, however, when the daughter thinks mom could be a little groovier, and mom wants to see the daughter adapt a little more to her way of thinking. But with a little understanding, and a little time, the generation gap can be bridged with a new look and appreciation for each other's unique style.

If Only You Were Me is produced by If Only You Were Me Productions Inc., and produced and directed by Karen Wookey.

If Only You Were Me airs Friday, April 22 on the Global Television Network as follows:

Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia - 8pm
Manitoba/Saskatchewan - 7pm
Maritimes - 9pm
Alberta - 10pm
