Survivor: Palau draws 3.3 million viewers on March 31

(TORONTO - Friday, April 1, 2005) Returning to its regular Thursday night home, Survivor: Palau drew 1.860 million viewers (A18-49) nationally, with a total 2+ audience of 3.265 million. It was the highest rated show of the night and the second highest rated episode of the season (behind the premiere).

The episode, which saw the Ulong Tribe face its record-setting seventh straight loss and 27-year-old waiter Ibrehem Rahman get voted off, earned a 12.5 rating (A18-49) in the Toronto market, building 37% compared to last week's Wednesday airing, according to BBM People Meter Data. In Vancouver, the episode garnered an 18.4 rating.

Next week, a castaway becomes annoyed with the tribe's living conditions and the survivors see who has the will to sample a Palauan delicacy that can be somewhat difficult to swallow. And a disagreement over a reward leaves someone feeling defeated and irritated.

Survivor Palau airs Thursday nights on the Global Television Network as follows:

Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia - 8pm
Manitoba/Saskatchewan - 7pm
Alberta/Maritimes - 9pm
