(TORONTO - Thursday, March 31, 2005) New episodes of Train 48 will begin Monday, April 4 on the Global Television Network. Highlights for the week include:
Monday, April 4
Ritu is frustrated and wonders what is to become of her relationship with Pete as Mag watches from across the aisle. Dana is confronted by Jesse's boyfriend Ben. Mag and Randy are amazed by the cutthroat plans Brenda is putting in place with her new position at work. Lucas is excited about meeting a woman who is a martial arts acting babe with a rich, film-producing uncle. David wonders whether his new hotshot lawyer is helping or hindering his case.

Toronto born actor and singer Lee Rumohr has appeared in the television productions Mutant X, Queer as Folk, The Famous Jet Jackson, and Traders.
Tuesday, April 5
Jules and Brenda plan the big dinner where her children and his children will meet as one big blended family. Lucas convinces David and Andy that lecherous and alcoholic Harry might be the best lawyer for David. Zach finds out Christina is staying at Seymour's house. Dana agrees to give Johnny's daughter Tammy guitar lessons.

Lucas is disappointed to learn his Asian-action star and date Lily hasn't read his script and already wants to change it. Zach and his brother's girlfriend Naomi try to keep their emotions in check while taking break-dancing lessons together. Seymour wants to invest his savings so he can help Christina pay for her sex-change operation.

Produced by Protocol Entertainment, Train 48 is an innovative instant drama that blends news and current affairs, soap opera and audience interaction with the unfolding drama of a group of train travelers as they commute home from work. Filmed entirely in Global's Toronto studio, each episode is scripted, shot, edited and broadcast daily, with the actors improvising all of the dialogue.
