Survivor: Palau draws 2.8 million viewers on March 16

(TORONTO - Thursday, March 17, 2005) A special Wednesday night episode of Survivor: Palau grabbed the most Adults 18-49 viewers of the night with 1.755 million nationally. The fifth episode of the reality adventure series drew a total of 2.821 million viewers (2+).

The episode, which provided a twist on the game of Survivor, saw two castaways voted off - 57-year-old lawyer Willard Smith from the Kororo tribe and 24-year-old bartender Angie Jakusz from the Ulong tribe get voted off. With this latest challenge loss, the Ulong tribe now holds the record for most losses in a row.

Survivor: Palau earned an 11.0 rating (A18-49) in the Toronto market, according to BBM People Meter Data. In Vancouver, the episode garnered a 15.8 rating.

NOTE: The next episode of Survivor: Palau will air Wednesday, March 23:

Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia - 8pm
Manitoba/Saskatchewan - 7pm
Alberta/Maritimes - 9pm

Survivor Palau returns to its regular timeslot Thursday March 31.
