Global highlights for week of March 14

Thursday, March 10
The Apprentice: Music artists Barenaked Ladies, Lil' Kim, Eve, Fat Joe, Moby, Gene Simmons, Lil John, Simple Plan, New Found Glory and Jadakiss make guest appearances and meet with the teams to help raise money for charity.

Monday, March 14
Fear Factor (90-Minute Rebroadcast): Four couples must free someone from the trunk of a submerged vehicle and climb down the side of a building to free someone from a car suspended 15 stories above the pavement.

Las Vegas: When Danny's friend, an ex-Marine turned politician, gets caught in a scandal involving a runaway child, he vows to help, but quickly discovers that people are not always who they seem to be.

Sri Lanka: The Journey Home (Special): This one-hour documentary follows Global Toronto News anchor Anne-Marie Mediwake and her return to her native Sri Lanka after the tsunami disaster in December 2004.

Tuesday, March 15
That '70s Show (Rebroadcast): Eric encourages the gang to pull a prank on a crazy neighbour, but their fun comes to a screeching halt and Eric is left to fend for himself. Kitty throws a "coming out" party for herself after she does a Cosmo quiz and learns she has low self-esteem. The party is all fun and games until Bob accuses Midge of flirting with W.B.

Will & Grace (Rebroadcast): Grace accidentally breaks a treasured figurine at Will's mother's (guest star Blythe Danner) holiday party and blames it on another guest.

House: The hospital is turned upside down when billionaire entrepreneur Edward Vogel (guest star Chi McBride) buys his way into becoming chairman of the board and plans to use the hospital as a new biotech venture. Meanwhile, when a young woman is inexplicably paralyzed, Dr. House finds himself risking his job and his medical license.

Judging Amy: Amy has a heated exchange with the state attorney, and her refusal to apologize for her comments prompts him to transfer all state cases out of her courtroom.

Wednesday, March 16
The Bully Solution (Special): This half-hour special, produced by Global News Calgary, examines how a new program dedicated to eliminating bullying is finding success in Canadian classrooms. Meet those behind "Challenge Day", a one-day workshop that resulted in dynamic changes for bullies and their victims, and why Canadian rocker Alanis Morissette has become an advocate for the remarkable program.

Survivor: Palau: The seventh castaway is eliminated.
The series will air on Wednesday nights on March 16 and March 23.

Gilmore Girls (Rebroadcast): Rory is touched when Emily and Richard throw a party to introduce her to their Yale alumni friends. When Dean arrives at the party to pick up Rory, it is clear to him that he has no place in her privileged world.

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy: The Fab Five's mission: to help eager groom Chris give his bride the wedding reception of her dreams.

Thursday, March 17
Will & Grace (Rebroadcast): When Jack convinces Will that they need a change of scenery, they buy an apartment in an up-and-coming gay community.

Will & Grace (Rebroadcast): As she attempts to steal doughnuts at an AA meeting, Grace has a surprise reunion with Val (guest star Molly Shannon). Will and Jack attend a gay television focus group meeting.

The Apprentice: What You Missed...An Apprentice Recap (Special): This one-hour special features never-before-seen moments from the series. Highlights include Verna's final meeting with Donald Trump, Danny's singing, Gene Simmons flirting with Stephanie, and some of the contestants' audition tapes.

Without a Trace (Rebroadcast): The team searches for a doctor who has disappeared after a jog in the city with her ex-husband.

Friday, March 18
Last Chance for Romance: Stephen and Larissa: This young couple would like to move in together, however Larissa tends to get anxious and overreacts to most problems while Stephen's extreme behaviour is expressed when he drinks too much and he can say hurtful things to Larissa. He is also easily frustrated when Larissa can't keep up to and tends to lose his patience quickly. Can they get past these issues to make it work? The 13-part series is hosted by Cheryl Hickey and features relationship expert Joe Rich.

Whose Design Is It Anyway?: Designer and host Jason Cass goes head to head with homeowners to redesign an area in their home. The winning design will be selected by family, partners and spouses of the homeowners, and a renowned home décor expert.

That '70s Show (Rebroadcast): As part of Eric's plan to take a year off, he decides to try his hand at vandalism. Meanwhile, Red buys a local muffler shop, much to the chagrin of Kitty, and Kelso's daughter gives him a newfound respect for women.

That '70s Show (Rebroadcast): Kitty is upset when she discovers the kids have plans of their own for Thanksgiving dinner, and Red coerces Eric into giving up his Styx concert tickets to stay home for the holiday. Meanwhile, Hyde prepares for the grand opening of his dad's record store and ends up clashing with his new half sister.

Saturday, March 19

Sunday, March 20
The Contender: The one-hour unscripted drama explores the human drama in and outside of the boxing ring as 16 aspiring boxers pursue their dream of becoming a champion prizefighter and winning $1 million (US) in prize money.

The Simpsons: Marge throws Homer out of the house after he buys a new RV, convinced by his friends that Marge won't let him make any financial decisions on his own.

Arrested Development: George Michael runs for student body president, which Gob manages to ruin. Buster has an affair with Lupe, and Tobias attempts to move out of the model home.

Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show: The half-hour comedy series features quick-fire puns, gags, one-liners and sketches that showcase the comedic talents of Kaitlin Olsen, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Paul F. Tompkins, Malcolm Barrett and Lee Mack. Shot both on location and in front of a studio audience, the series is executive produced by Kelsey Grammer and is based on the critically acclaimed and award-winning U.K. series.

Crossing Jordan: A recently released mobster seeks revenge on Jordan's father and the three Boston cops who put him behind bars. Jordan's reunion with her father (guest star Ken Howard) is cut short when he reveals the reason for the mobster's long vendetta. Meanwhile, Nigel and Bug's hopes of winning the coveted prize of top morgue in the country are dashed when a computer glitch leaves them with 300 unidentified bodies.
