The Apprentice draws 2.1 million viewers on Feb. 17

(TORONTO - Friday, February 18, 2005) Thursday's episode of The Apprentice edged out the competition, drawing 1.341 million viewers (A18-49), up 39% from last week. The total 2+ audience was 2.146 million, up 35% from last Thursday.
The episode, in which 25-year-old real estate developer Michael (Book Smarts team) was fired, earned a 10.6 rating among A18-49 in the Toronto market, according to BBM People Meter Data. In Vancouver, the episode garnered a 14.2 rating.
This season, The Apprentice pits the Street Smarts group against the Ivy League set as 18 competitors in New York City's corporate jungle take part in the ultimate job interview and the chance to work for business tycoon Donald Trump.
The Apprentice airs Thursdays on the Global Television Network as follows:
Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia - 9pm
Manitoba/Saskatchewan - 8pm
Alberta/Maritimes - 10pm
