(TORONTO - Monday, February 14, 2005) Survivor: Palau, the 10th instalment of the adventure-reality series, will premiere Thursday, February 17 on the Global Television Network.
Set on the remote island in the South Pacific, 20 new castaways will try to outwit, outlast and outplay each other to win the $1 million (US) prize and the title of ultimate survivor.
This new edition is expected to have more twists and turns than previous instalments. In the first episode alone, two of the participants will be sent home when they fail to be picked to be on a tribe. The challenges will be the most physical ever, with many taking place underwater. The contestants will be disadvantaged right from the outset when they arrive on the island with minimal information or supplies.
Survivor: Palau premieres Thursday, February 17 on the Global Television Network as follows:
Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia - 8pm
Manitoba/Saskatchewan - 7pm
Alberta/Maritimes - 9pm
