The Apprentice draws 1.6 million viewers on Feb. 3

(TORONTO - Friday, February 4, 2005) Thursday night's episode of The Apprentice, which saw two people go home, continues to draw huge audiences. The program grabbed 1.055 million viewers (A18-49) nationally with a total 2+ audience of 1.624 million.
The episode, in which 31-year-old business manager Verna (Book Smarts team) quit the game and 39-year-old marketing technology firm owner Danny (Book Smarts team) was fired, earned a 9.4 rating among A18-49 in the Toronto market - the highest rating show in the market for the evening, according to BBM People Meter Data. In Vancouver, the episode garnered an 11.2 rating. Ratings built in the second half hour in both markets.
This season, The Apprentice pits the Street Smarts group against the Ivy League set as 18 competitors in New York City's corporate jungle take part in the ultimate job interview and the chance to work for business tycoon Donald Trump.
The Apprentice airs Thursdays on the Global Television Network as follows:
Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia - 9pm
Manitoba/Saskatchewan - 8pm
Alberta/Maritimes - 10pm
