The Apprentice draws 1.8 million viewers on Jan. 27

(TORONTO - Friday, January 28, 2005) Thursday night's episode of The Apprentice grabbed 1.114 million viewers nationally with a total 2+ audience of 1.827 million, building 12% on last week's season premiere.
The 90-minute episode, in which 29-year-old real estate broker Brian (Street Smarts team) was fired, was No. 1 in the time period for the two major metered markets, earning a 9.4 rating among A18-49 in the Toronto market, according to BBM People Meter Data. In Vancouver, the episode garnered an 11.0 rating.
This season, The Apprentice pits the Street Smarts group against the Ivy League set as 18 competitors in New York City's corporate jungle take part in the ultimate job interview and the chance to work for business tycoon Donald Trump.
The Apprentice airs Thursdays on the Global Television Network as follows:
Ontario/Quebec/British Columbia - 9pm
Manitoba/Saskatchewan - 8pm
Alberta/Maritimes - 10pm
