BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS
THE MORE THE MERRIER IN THIS SEASON PREMIERE OF SUPRISES |
 |
(CALGARY) The season premiere of Big Brother: All-Stars kicked-off with a strong alliance and a couple of unexpected twists.
Twelve houseguests were slated to enter the Big Brother house but online voting was so close that 14 former houseguests were invited to compete in the house. The show also shook-up the Head of Household (HOH) competition. This season will see two HOH's who must reach consensus on two eviction nominees or be put on the eviction block themselves.
Millions of online viewer votes ensured a spot in the house for eight fan favourites: Jennifer "Nakomis" Dedmon (BB5), Janelle Pierzina (BB6), Erika Landin (BB4),Diane Henry (BB5), Howie Gordon (BB6), James Rhine (BB6),Jase Wirey (BB5) and Kaysar Ridha (BB6).The other returning houseguests are Alison Irwin (BB4), Mike "Boogie" Malin (BB2), Danielle Reyes (BB3), Marcellas Reynolds (BB3), George Boswell (BB1) and the only former winner in the group - Will Kirby (BB2). The returning former houseguests from Big Brother 6 were quick to form a strong alliance, but how long will it last?
Janelle and Jase took the title of first HOH's nominating Alison and Danielle for eviction. On Tuesday one houseguest will win the Power of Veto enabling them to remove an eviction nominee from the block and next Thursday will see the first eviction.
Big Brother: All-Stars airs Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights at 8pm ET on CH in Ontario and British Columbia and on Global in the Maritimes, Quebec, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina. There will be no episode of Big Brother: All-Stars on Sunday, July 9.
