Sally Field Joins Brothers & Sisters

Sally Field is joining the cast of ABC fall drama Brothers & Sisters,
reports Variety.
Field will play the mom on the series, which is replacing Grey's Anatomy
in the 10 p.m. Sunday timeslot behind Desperate Housewives. Betty
Buckley played the part in the pilot.
The job marks Field's first regular primetime role since 2002's
short-lived ABC drama The Court.
Also joining the cast of will be Matthew Rhys, taking on the role
handled by Jonathan LaPaglia in the pilot.
The Touchstone-produced Brothers & Sisters revolves around five
California-based siblings bound together by familial and financial ties.
Other cast members include Calista Flockhart, Rachel Griffiths, Ron
Rifkin and Patricia Wettig.
Executive producers of Brothers & Sisters are Ken Olin, Jon Robin Baitz
and Marti Noxon. |
