(VANCOUVER - March 31, 2006) Global National will broadcast live from Ottawa on Monday, April 3 to Wednesday, April 5 with Kevin Newmans breakthrough one-on-one interview with Prime Minister Stephen Harper to examine how the first Conservative government in more than a decade plans to lead the country as Parliament begins.

Global National anchor and executive editor Kevin Newman will have exclusive access to Stephen Harpers private office as he speaks candidly with Canadas newest Prime Minister to get the answers to questions Canadians have been asking: When will the GST cuts be introduced? What will happen to Canadas daycare program and child-care funding?
Newman will also be interviewing NDP leader Jack Layton and Opposition leader Bill Graham one-on-one to analyze the new governments major priorities.
