(VANCOUVER - March 31, 2006) Global National will broadcast live from Ottawa on Monday, April 3 to Wednesday, April 5 with Kevin Newman’s breakthrough one-on-one interview with Prime Minister Stephen Harper to examine how the first Conservative government in more than a decade plans to lead the country as Parliament begins.
Will the new government live up to their campaign promises? Global National anchor and executive editor Kevin Newman will have exclusive access to Stephen Harper’s private office as he speaks candidly with Canada’s newest Prime Minister to get the answers to questions Canadians have been asking: When will the GST cuts be introduced? What will happen to Canada’s daycare program and child-care funding?
Newman will also be interviewing NDP leader Jack Layton and Opposition leader Bill Graham one-on-one to analyze the new government’s major priorities.
