Survivor II: The Australian Outback Joins Celeb-Reality Block Sunday, October 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
(WINNIPEG) This Thanksgiving, TV lovers can go beyond turkey with a generous helping of ‘snake’, ‘rat’ and Hawk. TVtropolis outwits, outplays and outlasts traditional holiday TV fare with a 15-hour broadcast of the entire first season of SURVIVOR ( PALAU TIGA), on Monday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. ET/PT.

Throughout all 14 episodes of the reality phenomenon (including the infamous two-hour finale), audiences can reacquaint themselves with the original sixteen contestants transported to the deserted South China Sea island of Palau Tiga, and follow their tenuous relationship dynamics as they vote each other off in the hopes to be the last one remaining on the island to claim a one million dollar prize.
Memorable players among the Pagong and Tagi tribes include Richard “The Snake” Hatch, the mastermind behind the very first “alliance”; Kelly “The Rat” Wiglesworth; tough-talking Susan Hawk; by-the-book Rudy Boesch; and the alphabetically-inclined Sean Kenniff.

To keep the SURVIVOR parties going, TVtropolis will air the series follow-up,SURVIVOR II: THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK,as part of its weekly celeb-reality block beginning Sunday, October 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. This top-rated installment features Jerri Manthey, Colby Donaldson, Tina Wesson and Amber Brkich, future wife of fellow SURVIVOR contestant Rob Mariano.

An epoch-making hit upon its debut in the summer of 2000, SURVIVOR became an international cultural phenomenon that smashed summer viewing records and literally charted the course of television in the 21 st century. Currently in its 13 th season, the public’s tiki torch for all things SURVIVOR has yet to be passed or extinguished.
