Global Television To Produce Five Special Episodes of Smash Hit "Deal Or No Deal" With Host Howie Mandel On Location In Toronto
Network Announces Agreement with Endemol USA

Fans Nationwide Get A Chance To 'Deal' for Million Dollar Grand Prize


(TORONTO - October 23, 2006) Global Television today confirmed an
agreement with Endemol USA to produce a Canadian version of the
international hit, "Deal or No Deal." Five special editions of
Canada's favourite primetime gamer will be produced on-location in
Toronto, in January 2007.

Produced expressly for Global Television by Insight Productions and
Endemol USA, the 5 hour-long episodes will be broadcast exclusively in
Canada.

Airing on Global Television in the Spring of 2007, the special series
- led by Host Howie Mandel - will bring all the thrills and excitement
of the "Deal or No Deal" experience direct to its most loyal fans,
right here at home.

Details on casting, related contesting, and the opportunity to be part
of the studio audience for the special Canadian 5-night engagement
will be revealed in the days to come.
