(TORONTO) — CanWest MediaWorks and Rogers Wireless today announced that FPinfomart Mobile, CanWest MediaWorks’ industry leading news and business information service, is now available to Rogers Wireless customers. The announced agreement will see Rogers Wireless offer FPinfomart Mobile as part of its wireless business applications – giving mobile customers access to timely, reliable and in-depth information on-the-go.

Launched in October 2005, FPinfomart Mobile is the wireless extension of the FPinfomart.ca service that provides news and business information from over 275 Canadian and international news sources as well as a database of research on over 4,000 Canadian public companies. The new service was developed for Blackberry® wireless handheld devices. Today’s agreement allows the service to be provided directly to Rogers Wireless customers and includes the following benefits:
• Access to stories on the front pages of the National Post, Montreal Gazette, Ottawa Citizen, Calgary Herald and Vancouver Sun
• Personal Profiles allow the user to monitor the media day-by-day using customized criteria
• FP Company Snapshot provides an overview of every publicly traded company in Canada
• FP Summary provides an overview of the top business news each and every business day
• Industry News monitors business stories in over 40 major industries
