(TORONTO) – Television fans nationwide continue to tune into Global for their ultimate primetime viewing experience…House dominated the Canadian television landscape last night as the top rated show with 2.3million viewers, while the powerful Monday primetime lineup of Prison Break and Heroes kicked off the week to a great start.

Heroes , the colossal hit series of Fall ’06 has captivated viewers on both sides of the border…and the fascination for these unsung heroes continues to grow. Almost 1.5 million viewers tuned into Global Television Monday night at 9pm ET/PT for the much-anticipated and thrilling episode “Homecoming”, following the premiere of an all-new episode of the sophomore series, Prison Break with over 1.7 million viewers – with Heroes building on its lead in amongst the key demo of Adults 18-49.

HOUSE
  • 2.3 million viewers nationally; 1.4 million viewers in key demo A18-49
  • Top-rated show of the night nationally, and in all key markets ( Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary)
  • Primetime winner in key demo A18-49 nationally for five consecutive weeks
  • Continuing strong momentum from last season, House is up a commanding 38% in total viewers, and 66% amongst A18-49 versus last fall's average
  • 164% more viewers in key demo A18-49 than timeslot competitor, American Music Awards

HEROES
  • Canada ’s new #1 show solidifies its performance with nearly 1.5 million viewers; and topping over 1 million viewers in the key demo A18-49 for first time
