(TORONTO) CanWest MediaWorks today announced details on its integrated advertiser partnerships surrounding Deal or No Deal Canada, headlined by prestige ventures with Pontiac, a Division of General Motors Canada and Rogers Communications Inc.

As Official Sponsors of the exclusive five-episode run, Pontiac and Rogers will be prominently featured in the Deal or No Deal Canada experience through specifically tailored in-show content. The series premieres Sunday, February 4th following Super Bowl XLI on Global Television, then moves to its regular timeslot Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT beginning February 8th.

In addition to broadcast and interactive sponsorship involvement, Pontiac, as official automotive partner to the series, will provide Deal or No Deal Canada Host Howie Mandel a vehicle of his choice while in Toronto for the broadcast tapings.
"Pontiac is proud to be an official sponsor of Deal or No Deal Canada on Global," said Jim Scott, Pontiac Advertising Manager. "The action and excitement of this hit primetime franchise is the ideal way to showcase our products to Canadians."

With Rogers on board as official communications partner, the iconic in-show phone used by Howie Mandel as he receives calls from the banker will be the signature 'Rogers-red' in colour. On-screen graphic and verbal recognition by Mandel will ensure viewers know that Rogers is connecting each exciting call.

"Our partnership participation with Deal or No Deal Canada is a natural fit," said Stephen Graham, Rogers Executive Vice President for Corporate Marketing and Convergence. "We’re delighted to have the Rogers brand front and centre in each thrilling deal, and work with Global on this exciting Canadian game show format."

"We couldn’t be more pleased with the strategic and creative results we’ve realised with this blue-chip roster of partners," said Brett Manlove, Senior Vice President, Broadcast Sales & Marketing for CanWest MediaWorks. "We’re focused on delivering innovative, high-energy ways to integrate our advertisers into our Canadian productions, and into the overall broadcast experience; Deal or No Deal Canada was the perfect environment to make that a reality."

In addition, Pontiac and Sunquest are chief sponsors of the homegrown ‘Canada’s Case Game,’ an interactive mobile and online broadcast game showcased within the hour-long broadcasts. Game details and prizing profiles will be revealed in a series of custom 45- and 15-second promotional spots.
