One Year Later, Global National With Kevin Newman Continues To Dominate As Canadas Most-Watched National Newscast

(VANCOUVER) Since its re-launch one year ago on February 6, 2006, Global National with Kevin Newman has led the industry as the most-watched national newscast with an average of more than one million viewers a night.
“We are extremely pleased that we have been able to respond to overwhelming desire among Canadian news viewers for a national newscast over the supper hour period,” says Steve Wyatt, Senior Vice President of News and Information for CanWest MediaWorks.“To become the most-watched national news program in the country in such a short period of time is a great honour for the Global News Team.
