CanWest Interactive Acquires CanadianRetail.com Assets

Acquisition will strengthen retail sector offering for working.com
TORONTO, Nov. 15, 2005/ - CanWest Interactive, a division of CanWest
MediaWorks Publications Inc. and operator of working.com, today announced that
they have acquired certain assets of CanadianRetail.com, the largest online
recruiting site for the retail sector in Canada, from Bjork Enterprises
Limited. The purchase included the domain name of CanadianRetail.com, customer
contracts and intellectual property contained on the website.

The acquisition is part of working.com's strategy to provide both
employers and job seekers with the most relevant local search results and an
unmatched depth in specific employment verticals. Similar deals this year
included a partnership with Nurses4Ontario as well as the New Car Dealers
Association of British Columbia.

"CanadianRetail.com has a very strong brand within the retail sector with
a significant number of unique monthly visitors and a fantastic roster of
employers," said Kim Peters, General Manager for working.com. "The acquisition
will give us immediate critical mass in the retail sector and enable us to
broaden our offering to both employers and job seekers."

The wide range of employers featured on CanadianRetail.com includes; Home
Hardware, The Brick, Toys R Us, Reitmans, Telus Mobility, and The Shoe
Company.
