(TORONTO - March 28, 2006) Global Television today announced that their broadcast of the 21st Annual Gemini Awards will go on-the-road - being held for the first time outside Toronto - coming to Canadian audiences direct from the River Rock Show Theatre in Vancouver, B.C. in a 2hr Special Presentation.
Throughout Gemini week, Global Television's own Entertainment Tonight Canada will be on-hand with exclusive coverage of all the parties, preparations, and up close nominee and industry features. Then, on Saturday November 4th, the evening's signature red carpet pre-show, ET Canada At The Geminis kicks off from the River Rock Show Theatre. Host Cheryl Hickey, along with the ET Canada team will welcome the stars, dish on nominee and presenter fashion, and usher in the 2006 awards broadcast - all from the lovely left coast of Canada.
Throughout the 21st Annual Gemini Awards, ET Canada fans can keep up with winners, celebrity guests, sound-bites and sound-offs - direct from the backstage 'ET Canada Gemini Lounge'.
