1. Is there someone I can follow-up with to ensure my application was received? Will someone call me to tell me the status of my application?
CanWest MediaWorks is a very large organization spanning across Canada and receives many applications. As such, it is unfortunately not feasible to phone every applicant. Only those successful applicants will be contacted regarding the status of their application.
2. How can I apply for Summer Student Opportunities?
Individual businesses within CanWest MediaWorks will sometimes be looking to fill Student/Temporary/Seasonal employment opportunities. Please consult the job board for any available opportunities.
3. Who should I address my Cover Letter to?
Please address your Cover letter to “Hiring Manager” this will ensure that it addresses the appropriate individual.
4. Who will have access to my resume/application?
CanWest MediaWorks respects everyone’s right to privacy. Any application submitted will be reviewed only by the Hiring Manager and supporting Human Resources personnel.
5. Does CanWest actively seek the assistance of Employment Agencies?
The solicitation of employment agencies is at the sole discretion of the individual business units. They will contact any employment agencies as needed.
6. Who can I contact about an Internship?
Internships are arranged for by the individual business units through the various local Colleges and Universities. Please contact your school about information regarding internships at CanWest.
