Key Responsibilities
- Develop B2C, B2B and trade marketing strategies, programs and promotions to raise awareness, traffic and sales among new and existing users across the network while supporting the brand experience.
- Manage all facets of marketing and communications plans, programs and campaigns including branding, advertising, print, broadcast and promotional activities, trade and event management, pr, viral marketing, SEM/SEO efforts, emarketing, customer communication, research and analysis; develop and report post-campaign/program analysis to determine overall program effectiveness.
- # Develop recommended marketing plans and actions to strengthen CWIs marketplace position based upon key metrics coupled with the ongoing assessment of best practices, online/media industries, competitive and local market analysis.
- Initiate performance enhancing programs and actions based upon weekly and monthly analysis and management of site performance metrics and benchmarks.
- Collaborate and consult with key internal stakeholders including Business Units, Sales, Creative, PR, Technology, Content and Research to achieve objectives; work effectively across various businesses and teams to ensure strong integration and effective cross-promotion.
- Consult with Sales team to maximize and support client, partner and product revenue objectives; develop key messaging that communicate benefits to advertisers/media buyers and position canada.com as a must-have property as part of any media buy
- Manage day-to-day activities of creative, promotional and/or interactive agencies and other external partners to deliver programs and campaigns on time, on budget
- Supervise and coach one or more marketing coordinators or analysts; manage and develop direct reports to ensure top performance and to support their career and skills development
- Plan, manage and control annual marketing budgets to ensure maximum efficiency.

Key Qualifications: |
 |
- 5+ years marketing communications program management including planning, forecasting and execution, preferably within agency setting; previous account/client management experience is an asset
- Previous experience in both B2C and B2B marketing management; knowledge of/relevant experience in automotive, business intelligence, online and media industries
- 3+ years of supervisory experience managing team of direct reports
- Proven track record for achieving excellent results in driving core business objectives
- Excellent project management skills to implement assigned projects on time, within budget
- Measurement discipline to provide reports to senior management of status and trends within the online assets and to make recommendations for improvement.
- Excellent communications skills, creative problem solving skills, ability to work effectively in cross functional groups.
- Excellent budget management skills; ability to work within budget guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
