Leonard Asper is Chair and a Director of CanWest MediaWorks GP. Mr. Asper is President and Chief Executive Officer of CanWest Global and CanWest. Mr. Asper has been a Director of CanWest Global since 1997 and CanWest (and its predecessor companies) since 2000. Mr. Asper has been a Director of the TEN Group Pty Limited in Australia, CanWest MediaWorks (NZ) Limited, and numerous other companies within the CanWest Group. He is also a Director of the University of Winnipeg Foundation, Business Council of Manitoba and Canadian Council of Chief Executives, and founder of The Joshua Foundation, a private charitable trust.
David Asper is a Director of CanWest MediaWorks GP. Mr. Asper has been a Director of CanWest Global since 1997 and CanWest (and its predecessor companies) since 2000. Mr. Asper joined the CanWest Group in 1992, and is an Executive Vice-President of CanWest Global and CanWest and Chair of The National Post Company. He is also President of Daremax Enterprises Ltd., a Winnipeg-based private investment company; Managing Director of Creswin Properties Ltd., a private property management and development company; past chair of Centre Venture Development Corp., Winnipeg's downtown development authority; and past chair of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football Club.
David Drybrough, FCA, a Chartered Accountant, is a Director of CanWest MediaWorks GP. Mr. Drybrough Chair of the Boards of Directors of CanWest Global and CanWest and has been a director of CanWest Global and CanWest (and its predecessor companies) since 2003. Until January of 2004, Mr. Drybrough was Vice-President, Finance of Gendis Inc., following his retirement in 1997 as a partner of Coopers and Lybrand. Mr. Drybrough also serves as a Director of Fort Chicago Energy Partners L.P.
The Honourable Peter M. Liba, CM, OM, LLD is an independent Fund Trustee, independent Trust Trustee and a Director of CanWest MediaWorks GP. Most recently, Mr. Liba served as the 22nd Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba from 1999 to 2004. Before assuming the position of Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Liba was a broadcasting executive having served in numerous capacities since 1974 with the CanWest Group. Mr. Liba also has an extensive background in newspaper publishing, having had a 10-year career in that industry.
John E. Maguire is a Trust Trustee and a Director of CanWest Media GP. Mr. Maguire is the Chief Financial Officer of CanWest Global and CanWest. A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Maguire joined CanWest Global in 1990. Mr. Maguire is also a Director of CanWest MediaWorks (NZ) Limited, and numerous other companies within the CanWest Group. Mr. Maguire worked with Coopers & Lybrand from 1978 to 1987.
Wayne McLeod, FCA, a Chartered Accountant, is an independent Fund Trustee and a Director of CanWest MediaWorks GP. Mr. McLeod is a member of the board of directors of Energenius Inc. , Morguard Investments Inc., SMTC Corporation, Turbo Genset Inc., New Flyer Industries Inc. and New Flyer Industries Canada ULC and a trustee of each of Richards Packaging Income Fund and Atlas Cold Storage Income Fund. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He received his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University in 1965.
Riva Richard is a Director and Secretary of CanWest MediaWorks GP. Ms. Richard is Director, Legal Affaires of CanWest Global and CanWest. Prior to joining CanWest in 2001, Ms. Richard was an associate with the Toronto office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP, where she practiced corporate law.
Thomas Strike is a Trust Trustee and a Director of CanWest MediaWorks GP. Mr. Strike, a Chartered Accountant, has been employed by CanWest since 1986. He is currently an executive Vice-President of CanWest Global and CanWest, and President of CanWest MediaWorks International. He is also Chair of CanWest MediaWorks (NZ) Limited, a Director of the TEN Group Pty Limited (Australia) and a director of numerous other companies in the CanWest Group. Mr. Strike is also a member of the board of governors and honorary treasurer of St. John's Ravenscourt School in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Prior to joining the CanWest Group, Mr. Strike worked with Coopers Lybrand from 1978 to 1986.
Sheelagh Whittaker, LLD has held a series of interesting and important posts in Canadian communication, broadcasting and international IT. Recently retired following a career spanning three continents with a major IT services firm, Computing Canada's 30 Year Anniversary Issue has named her one of "Canada's IT Movers and Shakers". A member of Maclean's magazine Honour Roll of Outstanding Canadians since 1994, Ms Whittaker also serves on the Board of Imperial Oil Limited.

Richard Leipsic is a Fund Trustee. Mr. Leipsic is Vice-President and General Counsel of CanWest Global and CanWest. From 1975 until joining CanWest in 1999, Mr. Leipsic was a partner and practiced commercial law at Pitblado LLP, a Winnipeg-based law firm. Mr. Leipsic acted as CanWest Global's external legal counsel during his tenure at Pitblado LLP.
