Vancouver Robust Metropolitan in a Burgeoning Province |
|
Based on the overall quality of life, Vancouver has consistently been one of the top three most liveable cities in the world.Expo '86 put Vancouver on the world map. The handover of Hong Kong to China in 1997 resulted in a dramatic increase of immigrants and investments that boosted the value of real estate. Without fail, this sector has been among the top Canadian markets with housing costs at their most expensive in the country. Natural resources, tourism and high-tech are the province's additional main industries. Winning the 2010 Winter Olympics will provide a further boost to the Province.
Servicing the community in the Lower Mainland since 1967, Global BC is an outstanding corporate citizen. Not only do we inform and entertain, we participate in a wide range of community activities. |
