The Sharpie brand - the pens the stars have signed autographs with for decades - worked with Wills & Co. and Canwest MediaWorks to position the iconic pens to be all things "red carpet"! We secured Sharpie as "the Official Red Carpet Pen of Entertainment Tonight Canada" - a great brand association with the top entertainment show in Canada! And we crafted a contest which invited Canadians to enter for a chance to walk the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival as Sharpie's guests! Focusing on the new retractable Sharpie, "The Ultimate Red Carpet Experience" resonated well with viewers who entered at www.sharpieredcarpet.com.
We used simple yet colourful animation for the TV campaign which stood out in a sea of filmed ads.
